How it works

How Handyman & Renovations Pretoria Works

A clear explanation of who runs this website, what happens to your enquiry and who you agree the work with.

Who runs this website

Handyman & Renovations Pretoria is owned and managed by Nolimit Marketing Solutions (Pty) Ltd, a marketing company. Nolimit runs the website and passes enquiries on. It doesn't employ tradespeople, visit properties, quote, carry out work or take payment.

What happens to your enquiry

  1. Describe the job

Tell us what needs doing, where the property is and roughly when. A list of small jobs is welcome.

  2. We pass it on

Your enquiry goes to an independent contractor who covers your area and the type of work.

  3. The contractor contacts you

They discuss the work, arrange to see it if needed and give you their quote. You decide whether to go ahead.

Who you deal with

The independent contractor contacts you, discusses the job, inspects it if needed and gives you their quote. If you accept, the contractor does the work, invoices you and collects payment. Your agreement for the work is with the contractor; Nolimit is not a party to it.

That means questions about the quote, materials, timing, workmanship, anything the contractor offers after the job, invoices and payment are for the contractor. If you have a concern about how an enquiry was handled, or about your personal information, you can contact Nolimit through the details in the Privacy Policy.

Checks we recommend

  • Get the quote in writing. It should list what's included, the materials, who supplies them, and what isn't included.
  • Agree how payment works. Ask whether a deposit is needed and link larger payments to completed stages, not dates.
  • Ask about approvals. Structural changes may need plans approved by the City of Tshwane. Estates and complexes often need HOA or body corporate consent first.
  • Keep photos and records. Photograph the area before work starts and keep messages about changes to the scope.
  • Ask about regulated work. Electrical work needs a registered electrician who issues a Certificate of Compliance, and gas work needs an installer registered for it.

Your information

Your enquiry is sent to the contractor who will handle it, and only for that purpose. It isn't sold or used for unrelated marketing. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Request a quote

Tell us about the job. An independent contractor will contact you to discuss it and quote.

Photos help with an accurate quote. The contractor can ask you to send them when they contact you.

No obligation. The contractor quotes for your job directly.
